DrugStore2Door has become a go-to online pharmacy marketplace in the USA. It was in the puddle when our esteemed client found out about the fall in traffic and conversions. Much down due to the increasing competition, app speed, and outdated features, the DrugStore2Door app was going toward peril. Having worked with the team of Bytes Technolab on other projects, the client reached out to us yet again.
Project Objectives
The initial talks between us were a walkthrough of the overall journey of DrugStore2Door so far. Our eCommerce solution analysts and business experts heard the primary requirements and suggested a version upgrade along with trending features and modules to boost conversion. Upon agreement, we set up the milestones and created a roadmap for development, optimization, testing, and maintenance.
The Challenge
The main challenge was to make the platform user-friendly and engaging while saving time efficiently. The tricky part was to implement the module of advanced product search with all the possibilities discussed. Analyzing the previous system, loopholes if any, code quality, etc. while building the new modules within a definite timeline was very tricky. Overcoming poor performance, low speed, crashing, and payment failure, were on the list too.
The Solution
A dedicated engagement was rolled out to redevelop the Magento 2-powered pharmacy marketplace application. The version upgrade was performed to bring the application to the latest Magento 2.4.6. The dedicated Magento developers optimized the whole RX workflow. Our Magento team implemented a smart product search with Advanced filter settings and the client’s preferred payment integration with Onepay checkouts.
