About the Client
ACG brands is a multinational packaged goods company with offices and distribution centers in Texas USA, the UK, and China. ACG brands include NEBO (flashlights), TRUE (everyday carry pocket tools and knives), iPROTEC (firearm accessories), Quarrow (fishing gear), WeatherRite (outdoor lanterns), Skeeterhawk (Complete Mosquito Defense), and Thaw (Personal Warth Products).
Project Objectives
ACG brands were running with an old legacy system that was developed 10 years back. They were aiming to develop a new system from scratch to facilitate users with a modern interface, advanced technologies, features, and functionalities to increase market reach and improve their business.
The Challenge
The client needed one common admin panel to sync order management with ERP and CRM also. It was difficult to build a centralized admin panel and offer different types of user logins so that their entire team could access all the data from one place.
The Solution
We started with getting a proper understanding of the current system and limitations so we can try to overcome those in the new solution. We decided to go with Magento 2 as they were looking for Multisite with a single admin-based eCommerce solution. Considering many third-party integrations and brand-based stores, we recommended an auto-scale commerce cloud for smooth operation and traffic management.
We have created each store with unique branding on the subdomain and each store’s content, products, orders, Delivery, and other eCommerce operations managed through the single centralized admin panel. We did many Magento backend customization for Smooth inventory and order routing with ERP & CRM Systems. Also, we have created better management of currency, languages for each store with a single admin architecture.
