About the Client
Frementa is a ground-breaking Real Estate Marketplace that enables people to purchase, sell, and share various types of properties with no effort and expense. This is the platform where property owners, agents, and buyers may connect and close a deal. The platform’s distinctive features include property visit booking and sophisticated advance search technology
Project Objectives
The goal of this collaboration was to improve the Property management system app’s Admin section in order to provide more insights to product users. The project also necessitated adjustments for frontend users to enable property publishing, finding agents, and changing the style of the property detail page.
The Challenge
For the Real estate portal development we had to follow the test cases provided by the client, which included validations such as price unit conversion in USD for the administrator, as well as measurement unit conversion. Deleted unnecessary data from the S3 bucket. We removed all data from S3 that was not already in the current DB.
The Solution
We created generalised code to perform the unit conversion, which was missing at first. Built a cron job to verify and delete data from S3 on a regular basis.
We communicated and divided the development tasks using a Trello board. To meet the client’s short schedule, we divided the work into frontend and backend development tasks. We assigned two ReactJS resources and two NodeJS resources to work on the frontend and backend tech stacks, respectively.
With the client’s approval, we began correcting existing bugs and developing the new feature set. We utilised GitHub to handle our code, and we generated separate branches for each development environment, such as development, staging, and production. We preserved the Development branch for unit testing by the development team, staging for professional QA, and then moved the code to Production with 100 percent acceptance.
We set up a CI/CD pipeline to deploy code across all three domains. The product is hosted on Amazon Web Services.
