The client, a major parts supplier for cars in the US, decided to revamp their existing site by integrating new design, modules, APIs, and functionalities. As a result, the team opted to construct it using the latest Magento platform, Magento 2. Furthermore, the team conducted unit testing and optimization to improve the shopping experience.

Real Street Performance’s online store is expected to experience substantial traffic due to its brick and mortar counterpart. This underscores the brand’s increased need to deliver the best possible eCommerce experience. The client expressed their concern in this regard and approached us to revamp their existing eCommerce web app.

Heavy traffic on the eCommerce platform significantly impacted the online buying experience by causing numerous performance issues. The outdated architecture proved inadequate for long-term sustainability.To address this, the client sought a complete revamp, requiring the Magento team to analyze the current system architecture and document it. Additionally, several existing extensions had become unsupported, necessitating manual updates.

The Solution

The redesign of the website began with the UI/UX designers, who introduced new and interactive design elements. Following this, the development team built the website on the Magento 2 platform and conducted multiple unit tests. They also integrated New Relic to monitor the application’s health. Furthermore, the team implemented various other functionalities, such as payment methods, shipping methods, a custom search module, and more.
