Challenges
- Custom settings to direct returns of online orders to the nearest offline stores.
- Fast search results to improve overall Magento eCommerce store experience.
- Stopping customers from going away in case the products are out of stock on the BOPIS website.
Solution
- Our in-house Magento experts brainstormed and successfully integrated BOPIS (Buy Online, Pick Up In Store) as the omnichannel fulfillment solution using Adobe Commerce Cloud. In addition, the Magento developers presented offline stores as MSI (Multi-Source Inventory) for efficient inventory management in the system.
- This setup allows us to connect with these offline stores as inventory sources for BOPIS, where we can effectively manage new products and offers and engage more customers in the online shopping experience.
- The experts performed Walmart application integration into the BOPIS-enabled website. As a result, when an order is placed on the website, it automatically synchronizes with the application, enabling store managers to stay informed about new orders generated through the online BOPIS store.
- Introduced express delivery service, ensuring that customer orders are prepared and ready within the next 2 hours for a faster and more efficient shopping experience
