We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead – Artificial Intelligence to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions. This role will provide technical leadership to AI/ML engineers and data teams, guide architectural decisions, and ensure scalable, high-performance AI implementations.
The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in machine learning and data systems with strong leadership skills to mentor team members, align AI initiatives with business objectives, and drive the successful delivery of AI projects.
Roles & responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions.
- Define the technical architecture and development standards for AI systems.
- Make key architecture and technology decisions for AI platforms.
- Lead and mentor AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and data engineers.
- Guide team members on model development, system architecture, and best practices.
- Conduct technical reviews and ensure code quality standards.
- Design and build scalable AI systems and machine learning pipelines.
- Develop solutions using machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
- Ensure models are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Build and manage data preprocessing pipelines and feature engineering workflows.
- Work with structured and unstructured data sources.
- Ensure proper model training, evaluation, and deployment practices.
- Manage AI project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business goals.
- Ensure AI initiatives are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- Work closely with product teams, engineers, and leadership to identify AI opportunities.
- Evaluate and implement new AI technologies and frameworks.
- Contribute to the organization’s AI innovation and technology roadmap.
Skills required
- Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms.
- Experience designing and deploying production-grade AI systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).
- Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data pipelines.
- Experience designing scalable AI architectures and distributed systems.
- Ability to integrate AI models into real-world applications and production environments.
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Good to Have
- 8–10 years of experience in software engineering, data science, or AI/ML development
