About us

The Assistant Manager or Manager – Sales (North America) will play a critical role in supporting revenue growth across the US and Canada markets. This is a hands-on sales role, closer to a senior sales executive, with added responsibility for outbound lead generation, early-stage qualification, client interactions, and deal support. The role acts as a bridge between marketing/outbound efforts, pre-sales, and senior sales leadership, ensuring smooth movement of opportunities through the funnel while building strong foundational sales skills for long-term growth.

Roles & responsibilities

  • Support outbound sales initiatives including LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, partner referrals, and follow-ups.
  • Research target accounts, decision-makers, and industries in the US & Canada markets.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on fit, budget, authority, and timelines.
  • Work closely with marketing and outbound teams to convert leads into sales-qualified opportunities.
  • Set up and coordinate discovery and introductory calls with prospective North American clients.
  • Conduct first-level discovery calls to understand business needs, technical requirements, and buying intent.
  • Document call notes, next steps, and action items clearly and accurately.
  • Coordinate calendars between prospects and internal stakeholders across time zones.
  • Prepare and assist with client pitch decks, capability presentations, and case-study walkthroughs.
  • Support solutioning and proposal creation in collaboration with pre-sales and technical teams.
  • Customize pitch and proposal content based on client industry, geography, and maturity.
  • Assist senior sales leadership during pricing discussions, negotiations, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM (Zoho preferred) for all accounts that fall under the North American market.
  • Track pipeline stages, follow-up tasks, and expected closure timelines.
  • Coordinate preparation of proposals, NDAs, SLAs, and SOWs.
  • Ensure smooth handover of closed deals to account management and delivery teams.
  • Coordinate with delivery, design, tech, and marketing teams to align solutions with client needs.
  • Participate in internal sales reviews, pipeline discussions, and strategy meetings.
  • Stay coachable, open to feedback, and proactive in improving sales skills and market understanding.

Skills required

  • 4+ years of experience in IT services sales, business development, pre-sales, or client-facing roles.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, software development, eCommerce, or digital transformation sales cycles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially for international (US/Canada) clients.
  • Confidence in conducting discovery calls and supporting client pitches.
  • Experience with outbound lead generation or sales prospecting is a strong plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and internal coordination tasks.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho CRM preferred).
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into a stronger sales ownership role.
