About the Client
The client from Hawaii strives to promote the teachings of Lord Budhha aimed at the happiness of total peace through mindful presence with life. They also have teachers in the institution to apply these practices to their students’ betterment in these modern times to strengthen good things. The client also had the old version of a mobile app to preserve such teachings in the form of guided meditation to help common people at no cost.
Project Objectives
The client wanted to rebuild the app when he came to us and our React Native app developers analyzed the mobile app. Severe bug issues were causing the app to crash. Other performance and usability issues were identified by the mobile team in the Android and iOS versions. We were responsible to perform bug fixes and enhance the app overall to boost user experience. We were also given the opportunity to build a website that matches all the functionalities of the mobile app.
The Challenge
Numerous bugs in the previous version of the Vipassana Hawai’i mobile app resulted in negative reviews and a shrinking audience base. The client already spent a lot of time finding the right mobile app development company. As a consequence, we were given a strict timeframe to finish the project along with QA services to deliver a full-fledged cross-platform mobile app and then a website.
The Solution
The React Native development team delivered a fully functional cross-platform mobile app that was flawless. It worked perfectly on Android and iOS smartphones. It was now time to shift the focus to the web part. Our experts recommended building a website front-end using React.js for interactive and elegant UI performance with a powerful backend suggested to be built in Node.js.
Kudos to the UI/UX design and web development team to plan, develop, and deploy a website within the given timeframe. The guided meditation content was accessible with a spick and span UI/UX to enhance the user experience significantly.
