Project Objectives
The client required a contemporary web design solution to advertise their products and services. They wanted to attract more customers and increase sales and profits in a number of countries. They approached us with the concept of creating an eCommerce site that would allow consumers to browse products and purchase them easily. In addition, they offer products on different platforms while syncing all inventory and orders using the same backend.
The Challenge
The client was running an online business on an outdated legacy platform and technology that had limits, thus it needed to transfer to the latest technology with a new trending design aesthetic. They also required gift-selling websites in Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. Also vital was the structure, which should not have an impact on the SEO footprint or overall website traffic.
The Solution
Our team proposed a Magento-based eCommerce solution to assist the clients in obtaining a fully working and feature-rich website for selling products online. We migrated all clients, items, orders, and CMS material from the old system to the new system. In addition, various marketplaces were integrated to manage inventory and orders from a single backend. To sell products into the United States, New Zealand, and Australia, I used a multi-website and multi-currency strategy.
