Problem Statement
Teen, Parent, and Educator content was distributed across three separate websites, making management and navigation increasingly difficult. The client needed one engaging platform that could centralize content, support premium learning, and serve each audience through clearly defined journeys.
Challenges
- Consolidating three independent websites into one WordPress platform.
- Migrating content and user data into a centralized database.
- Adapting a purchased theme to match the required user experience.
- Creating distinct content journeys for teenagers, parents, and educators.
- Restricting premium articles through membership and payment workflows.
- Integrating AI search, video learning, and marketplace functionality.
Solution
- The project brought the Teen HUB, Parent HUB, and Educator HUB together within one redesigned WordPress environment. The content structure and navigation were reorganized so each audience could reach relevant articles, guidance, and educational resources without moving between separate websites.
- Data from the three existing platforms was migrated and consolidated into a unified database. The selected WordPress theme was customized to improve visual consistency, responsiveness, and interaction across the different content sections.
- Stripe integration enabled paid memberships and access to premium articles. WooCommerce supported commerce-related functionality, while Amazon integration allowed users to explore recommended skincare, cosmetic, and lifestyle products through the platform.
- SiteGPT was incorporated to help visitors ask content-related questions and discover relevant information conversationally. YouTube integration also supported video tutorials and educational content alongside written resources.
- Testing covered migrated data, memberships, payments, AI search, responsive layouts, and content access rules before deployment on WP Engine. Bytes Technolab continued to provide maintenance and technical support following launch.
