About the Client

The client based in the US founded Hoom.LLC in 2019 and started a mission to solve the homeownership crisis in America. The company offers equity funding in return for a portion of potential gains. It places investments in main residences, vacation properties, and investment properties. Furthermore, it facilitates cash offers, recommending lenders, and suggesting agents. This empowers property owners to economize on mortgages while also conserving time and resources.

Project Objectives

The primary goal of the project was to improve the existing website. And for that a customized design and development approach was planned to elevate user engagement.

 

Furthermore, the client desired to integrate fintech tools such as personalized calculators designed for loan estimation for both prospective home buyers and homeowners.

Objective

The Challenge

Creating a personalized fintech tool for loan and mortgage calculations posed a significant challenge for us. Additionally, meeting the web app’s redesign deadline was another demanding task for our team.

The Solution

After a brief discussion, our developers and designers redesigned the website and made two custom calculators. ‘Buy your home’ is a debt-free down payment assistance for home buyers. The other one that is meant for home owners is ‘Sell shares of home’ which lets the users cash out their home without taking on debt. After accessing the information and gathering all the necessary formulas, a settlement calculator that accurately depicted a functional chart illustrating the potential loan qualification based on the current home value.
