It's our very own Fremont city topping the charts with a score of 76.10/100 followed by San Jose (70.35) in the second spot, San Francisco (68.73) ranking fifth, and Irvine (67.83) in the sixth.
The International Day of Happiness 2023 falling on March 20 could not get any better than this. As the report comes from the personal finance company WalletHub’s study for the USA region, we would like to share this fantastic news among our peers and within the network.
How the Study was Conducted?
WalletHub considered and analyzed over 30 parameters of happiness across 182 cities in the USA. All the parameters and indicators were grouped into three main categories which were Emotional & Physical Well-being, Income & Employment, and Community & Environment.
Aspects such as life satisfaction index, sleep quality, and average life cycle were included in the category of Emotional & Physical well-being. Poverty rate, job life satisfaction, and overall unemployment within a city were considered in the Income & Employment category. Factors like separation and divorce rate, nature, city’s green score, crime rate, etc. were included in the category of Community & Environment.
Many aspects of life such as employment, emotional and physical well-being, income, adventures and travels, nature, etc. were considered in the scoring of the cities. Less stressful lives of employees are one crucial aspect that we are proud of.
