We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Odoo Functional Consultant with strong expertise in ERP implementation, business process analysis, and client coordination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding client business requirements, mapping them with Odoo ERP solutions, and ensuring successful implementation and delivery of projects. This role requires excellent functional knowledge of Odoo modules, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver optimized ERP solutions. The candidate should be capable of handling end-to-end ERP implementation activities including requirement gathering, GAP analysis, workflow configuration, user training, testing, and post-implementation support for global clients.
Roles & responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document client business requirements and operational workflows.
- Conduct GAP analysis and propose optimized ERP solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Configure and customize Odoo ERP functional modules as per client requirements.
- Work on functional areas including Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, HR, Accounting, and related business modules.
- Coordinate with technical and development teams for customizations and third-party integrations.
- Prepare functional requirement documents (FRD), workflows, process diagrams, and solution documentation.
- Handle ERP implementation activities including data migration, system testing, UAT, deployment, and support.
- Provide functional training sessions and user guidance to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to improve business operations and process efficiency.
- Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
- Participate in client meetings, requirement discussions, and solution demonstrations.
- Assist in troubleshooting functional issues and provide post-implementation support.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
- Contribute towards process improvements and best practices in ERP implementation.
Skills required
- 4+ years of relevant experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or ERP Functional Consultant.
- Strong understanding of Odoo ERP functional modules and business workflows.
- Experience in ERP implementation, client handling, and requirement analysis.
- Knowledge of business processes across Sales, CRM, Inventory, Purchase, HR, and Accounting.
- Hands-on experience in conducting GAP analysis and preparing functional documentation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with technical/development teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Experience working with international clients and cross-functional teams is preferred.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
