Roles & responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and MySQL.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies to build responsive web pages.
- Assist in developing and integrating APIs and third-party services.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve basic application bugs and technical issues.
- Collaborate with senior developers, designers, QA engineers, and other team members.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.
Skills required
- Strong hands-on experience with Core PHP
- Good experience with Laravel Framework
- Strong knowledge of PHP, OOPs and MVC architecture
- Experience with MySQL and database queries
- Good understanding of REST APIs and third-party API integrations
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Git/version control
Good to Have
- Experience working on existing/legacy PHP applications
- Knowledge of Laravel queues, jobs, events and authentication
- Experience with payment gateway or third-party integrations
- Basic knowledge of Linux/server environments
