NexShop AI at LEAP 2026 Riyadh

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, September 3, 2026: Bytes Technolab concluded its visit to LEAP 2026 in Riyadh after four days of conversations, technology discovery, product demonstrations and meetings with businesses exploring what AI can realistically do for them today.

Held from August 31 to September 3, LEAP brought the global technology ecosystem together in Riyadh, creating a valuable meeting ground for startups, enterprises, technology leaders, investors, and teams building the next generation of digital products.

For Bytes Technolab, the visit had a clear objective: to understand where Saudi businesses are heading with adopting AI, to listen to the problems companies are trying to solve, and explore where they can create measurable business value as an AI engineering partner.

Representing Bytes Technolab in Riyadh were Mitul Patel, Founder & CEO, and Ashish Kulkarni, Head of Sales. Their agenda focused on direct conversations with founders, business leaders, technology teams and potential partners across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.

Moving the AI Conversation Closer to Real Business Problems

A recurring theme throughout LEAP was clear. Businesses are moving beyond asking what AI can do and starting to ask where it should be applied first.

For Bytes Technolab, that made conversations around AI engineering especially relevant.

Discussions covered practical areas such as AI agents, intelligent business workflows, enterprise AI adoption, modern product development, and how companies can move promising AI use cases beyond pilots into systems that work reliably inside day-to-day operations.

As an AI engineering company and product engineering partner, Bytes Technolab used these conversations to understand the priorities shaping technology investments across Saudi Arabia, from startups looking to move quickly to established enterprises evaluating AI at a much larger operational scale.

The team also saw strong alignment between these conversations and Saudi Arabia's wider Vision 2030 direction, where digital businesses, technology adoption and new models of customer experience continue to play an important role.

AI Conversation Closer to Real Business Problem

NexShop Brings Conversational Commerce into the Discussion

One of the key products Bytes Technolab brought to conversations in Riyadh was NexShop AI, its conversational shopping agent built for eCommerce businesses.

Instead of asking shoppers to search through menus, filters, and multiple product pages, NexShop lets customers simply explain what they need.

The AI shopping agent understands the request, interprets context and quantity, identifies relevant products, and can build a ready-to-checkout cart within the same conversation.

The idea is straightforward: fewer steps between intent and purchase.

Through live NexShop walkthroughs during the LEAP visit, Bytes Technolab demonstrated how conversational commerce can help local eCommerce brands rethink product discovery and checkout experiences.

The discussions went beyond adding another chatbot to an online store. They focused on intelligent commerce, where an AI system can understand what a customer wants and help move that customer toward an actual transaction.

For Saudi eCommerce brands, marketplaces and retail businesses, this opens practical conversations around faster product discovery, multilingual shopping experiences, improved customer journeys and a new generation of AI commerce.

NexShop also gave business leaders a tangible way to experience the difference between an AI assistant that simply answers questions and an AI shopping assistant designed to take action throughout the buying journey.

DeepFest Adds a Different Lens to the AI Conversation

Running alongside LEAP, DeepFest added another important dimension to the team's Riyadh visit.

Sessions, demonstrations and conversations around applied AI gave the Bytes team a closer view of where the market is moving across AI adoption, governance, security, customer experience and emerging applications.

More importantly, the discussions reinforced something Bytes Technolab has been seeing in its own work: interest in AI is no longer the problem.

Execution is.

Businesses increasingly want to know how an AI use case connects with existing data, systems, teams, customer journeys, and business goals.

They also want clarity around reliability, security, and what happens once an AI system moves into production.

Those questions will continue to shape how Bytes Technolab approaches AI engineering engagements with startups and enterprise clients.

Four Days Built Around Conversations, Not Just Technology

LEAP also gave the visiting team an opportunity to step outside individual technology discussions and understand the market from a wider perspective.

Meetings with founders, enterprises, technology leaders and potential collaborators helped surface new ideas across AI, SaaS, digital commerce and product engineering.

Some conversations started with a specific business problem. Others started with a product idea, an AI experiment, or a question about what could be built next.

That was exactly the point of the visit.

Rather than arriving in Riyadh with a fixed sales conversation, the Bytes Technolab team focused on listening first, understanding where businesses are facing friction, and identifying opportunities where technology can genuinely solve something.

For Ashish Kulkarni, Head of Sales at Bytes Technolab, the visit also provided valuable insight into what Saudi companies expect from technology partners: stronger business understanding, practical execution and the ability to stay involved beyond the initial idea.

These conversations are now moving into follow-ups, deeper technical discussions, and potential collaboration opportunities after LEAP.

Built Around Conversations, Not Just Technology

Mitul Patel: "We’re Leaving Riyadh with Conversations Worth Continuing"

Reflecting on the four-day visit, Mitul Patel, Founder & CEO of Bytes Technolab, said:

“LEAP gave us exactly what we came to Riyadh for: a clearer view of where the Saudi market is moving, direct conversations with people solving real business problems and a better understanding of where AI can create value right now.

The response to NexShop and the discussions around AI engineering and product engineering were especially encouraging. What stood out was the quality of the conversations. People weren’t talking about AI simply because it’s trending. They were asking where it fits, how it works with their business, and what it takes to move from an idea to something usable.

We’re leaving Riyadh with strong conversations to continue, new relationships to build and a lot of energy to turn the right opportunities we discovered at LEAP into real outcomes.”

From Riyadh to What Comes Next

LEAP 2026 ends, but the work coming out of it is only beginning.

For Bytes Technolab, the next step is to continue the conversations started in Riyadh and explore where its AI engineering, product engineering, and conversational commerce capabilities can support Saudi startups and enterprises with real technology priorities.

That includes helping businesses move AI ideas toward production, building and modernizing digital products, creating intelligent customer experiences, and exploring new commerce models through products such as NexShop AI.

The four days in Riyadh offered market insight, new perspectives, and meaningful connections.

Now comes the more important part.

Turning the right conversations into something real.
