The client was in the food and restaurant industry and has his own food service chain with a franchise system serving large number of customers in both ways dine-in and delivery service. With the purpose of serving their customers with excellent food home delivery service, the client wanted to develop an app with effective customer and restaurant management systems. Client was seeking food ordering app development services provider. The mission of this project was food delivery app development. An app that facilitates customers of the client an easy food ordering experience and enable the franchise owners to effectively manage restaurant and delivery of food. Primary focus was on the use of latest technology to develop customizable dashboards according to client’s demands. Prominent customizable features like a customer panel, restaurant panel, delivery status and easy status maintenance were also integrated.

The client is in food service business and owns a popular food channel franchise chain. This food channel franchise chain is famous for excellent delicious food from several regional varieties of food items. They want to establish an app to facilitate their customers to order their favourite food from the nearby restaurants using the app to get the food delivered at their home or the place they want. The app will also provide restaurant owners with the efficient features to manage easily alterable menus, ingredients in recipe; launching offers and discounts and kitchen and store management. They were having their own website for operations management but failed to ensure the required functionality for the service they want to provide. The team of Bytes Technolab realized their concern and to resolve the issues provided them with a solution and built an app with an attractive and simple user interface and strong restaurant and delivery management features.

The Food channel franchise owner had an outdated website troubling the food ordering and delivery service of the client required an efficient replacement with all new features and updated system of food ordering for customers as well as for restaurant owners to manage restaurant and food delivery. The client has a strong customer base and had a lot of data to be stored in the new app developed to serve the purpose. The team of Bytes Technolab used relevant technical solutions for entire data transfer, ensuring no loss of information. Building an app serving the dual purpose of easy operations at both ends required a lot of hard work.

To respond the client’s expectations and to meet the business requirements our team suggested developing a mobile app for customers to order food and food combos, and with customized ingredients added as per their choice.

 

2. Web-based backend Solution:

Our team suggested a web-based backend control mechanism for the restaurant owner, staff and admin to manage orders, provide options for combos and customized ingredients and keep a record of orders completed. Also, all the restaurants can release promotions and offer discounts to their customers as per their preferences with a Web backend panel.

 

3. Attractive and personalized user interface:

The team developed a customised user interface with customer panel demonstrating personalized choices, menu, reviews by customers and discounts offered on upcoming orders.

 

4. Restaurant Kitchen Management System:

This feature was installed to enable restaurant owner to manage online orders and spot orders efficiently and effectively operating quality service at restaurant and delivery both.

 

5. Tracking using Google Maps and Maintaining the Code Size:

Google APIs integration was made in the app to enable customers, the delivery person and restaurant owners to track the delivery status.APIs increased the app’s size, so Bytes Technolab has developed a custom algorithm to reduce the size of the app.

 

6. Inventory Management in a region-specific manner:

Bytes team has also developed a feature separately updating the region-wise or store specific inventory and price is no more required. Admin can do it instantly with merely selecting the region.

 

7. Varied payment modes:

Customized payment options are provided in the app where customers can pay to the restaurants in several ways. Also, restaurants can manage to receive payments from the backend panel.
